Tony, an American journalist, is assigned to assist the investigation team of Berita Satu. In Jakarta, Tony immediately attracted to cover street children and Acil is his choice. Interviews are initially go smoothly, but it turns into a mess when Acil steals Tony’s camera. Tony pursue Acil mightily to get into the area of the fishing village. There he meets with Anggun, who is a teacher for street children. Then Marni, a mother who has to be prostitute, and Jampang, the head thug in the fishing village. Through them, Tony goes into marginal lives of the people of Jakarta with all their problems.

Short on cash and a place to live, a woman agrees to let an old upper-class couple takes care of her and her unborn child, not knowing they have a more sinister plan that involves their only son.

Following six different characters in four different stories: Dimas, a rude and selfish employee; Roby, a reckless and awkward nerd; Stefanny, a sweet and friendly Lost and Found clerk; Clara, a nonchalant career woman; Jevi, a gentle but strict train conductor; and Fajar, a caring and dedicated CSOT (Customer Service On Train) who comes from the outskirt of the city. All become interrelated after they each get involved in a mind boggling life-changing event related to the places where they usually board train for their daily activities' needs.
