Un raid de routine, mené par Emer Berry, inspectrice au Bureau Irlandais des Affaires Criminelles, met à jour qu'un petit dealer de drogue a reçu d'importantes sommes d'une source supposée intraçable. Il ne s'agit pas d'argent, mais de diamants bruts. Quand un lien apparaît entre ces diamants et une série d'attaques à la bombe en Belgique, Emer se voit forcée de travailler avec le Commissaire Christian De Jong.
