Lors de sa visite de condoléances aux funérailles d'Ismet, Recep Ivedik se sent désolé pour les membres de la famille d'Ismet qui restent en raison de son dernier contrat de travail inachevé qui entraînerait une situation financière difficile pour la famille. Par conséquent, Recep décide de terminer le dernier travail d'Ismet en se remplaçant lui-même comme chauffeur de bus et en transportant un groupe d'athlètes. Bien que Recep et son ami accompagnateur Nurullah s'attendaient à ce que ce soit un court voyage, ils apprennent que ce n'est pas le cas car ils doivent transporter de jeunes athlètes nationaux vers une organisation sportive dans un pays étranger.
