In the 1990s, during a wild thunderstorm night, 12-year-old Anay dies in a road accident shortly after he sees his next-door neighbor committing a crime. Set in upper-middle-class Mumbai, each episode is a comical potpourri of opinions, conflicts, dilemmas and unsaid assumptions as the Shastri's try hard to believe, “the family that eats together, stays together.” But do they really?
