Film festival director Evelyn Bichlinger has only a few hours left until the awards ceremony. Unfortunately, the short film jury has disappeared, without telling anyone which short film will receive an award. An adventurous search begins!

In the late 1960s, when the young Jewish businessman’s son Victor Dessauer fails to secure just punishment for the Nazi concentration camp commandant who tortured his parents, he resolves to take the law into his own hands.

While trying to sneak his way into the Austrian film academy, Peskador is caught by two watchmen who start questioning him. Fortunately for him, he carries with him a magic keyboard: he takes a stance and starts to play. Singers, musicians, parents, nuns, filmmakers and sailors come to his aid in answering some interesting questions.

A bighearted gangster tries to turn his life around after falling in love — but with a dogged detective closely tracking his crew, it may be too late.
