Dans la petite ville de Neustadt, il se passe parfois des choses étranges... Cela vient peut-être du fait que, parmi ses habitants, les sorcières Barbara et Bibi Blocksberg (mère et fille) ont l'habitude de provoquer des turbulences ! Le père de Bibi ne voit pas d'un très bon œil les incursions de sa fille dans le monde du surnaturel et encore moins son moyen de transport préféré : le balai.
