En 1986, Park Gwang Ho, détective et marié Sin Yeon Suk, essaie désespérément d'attraper un tueur en série. En traversant par un tunnel alors qu'il pourchassait ce dernier, Gwang Ho se voit transporté en l'an 2017. Il fait alors la rencontre de Kim Seon Jae, un détective quelque peu excentrique mais un excellent enquêteur, ainsi que celle de Sin Jae Yi, professeur de psychologie criminelle. Ensemble, ils vont s'entraider afin d'attraper le tueur qui a repris sa série de crimes ayant débuté il y a 30 ans.
