Television recording of the Dutch musical by Annie M.G. Schmidt (lyrics) and Harry Bannink (music) from 1971. Two fairies guide the life of young Frans. The good fairy wishes him that he will become a decent man, with a good job and an exemplary family. The evil fairy wishes him bad luck. Her goal is to make the boy as unhappy as possible. Both bring twists and turns in the boy's life. They accompany his life in different guises, as a teacher, as a cashier, as a customer in a shop, as a psychiatrist, as aunts at a reception. Their fight continues until morals begin to scramble. Because what is actually still good and what is really bad?

Doe Maar was a Dutch ska band with punk and reggae influences. Their career ran from 1978 to 1984 and they were one of the most successful pop bands in Dutch history. Doe Maar translates as Go Ahead or Just do it, a phrase mostly used in a deprecatory, sulky manner. Doe Maar De Popmusical, is a Dutch musical produced by V&V Entertainment. It premièred on 28-01-2007 in Tilburg. The show on 11-18-2007 (Theater Castellum) was recorded and aired on 01-01-2008.

Registration of the stage musical, based on the Dutch children's television series from the 1970s. Based on the fairy tale "The Pied Piper of Hamelin", it tells what happened with the children after they disappeared from this German town. When The Piedpiper solves the rat problem in the town of Hamelin The Mayor refuses to pay him his gold so out of revenge he disappears with all the children of the town and 4 adults (Bertram Bierenbroodspot, his fiancé and the daughter of the Mayor Lidwientje Walg, Gatekeeper Aernout Koffij and Town Crier Hildebrandt Brom), the alternate reality they find themselves in is an adventure.
