En 1965, deux garçons, Téo et Luis, s'amusent dans la ville déserte de Marienbad. La construction d'un barrage va submerger la ville dont tous les habitants ont été évacués. Tous sauf les membres d'une secte, cachés dans l'église dont le chef Mordecai Salas va être libéré par Téo. Quelques dizaines d'années plus tard, alors qu'a lieu la célébration de la construction du barrage, des personnes disparaissent mystérieusement dans le lac sombre et profond. Une enquête est menée, de vieilles croyances semblent être mêlées à ces disparitions.

Trying to deceive the Treasury has been a very tempting option for Andrés (Quim Gutiérrez), but he didn't count on them ending up getting caught. And that is exactly what has happened to him. Reluctantly, he and his employees move to Los Caños and that is not as bad as they expected... It is worse.
