It tells the story of a group of hot-blooded young adults who grow up as brothers and fight for their dreams during the tug-of-war movement.

Gao Yang does not get along with his father Gao Bin since young, despite being brought up solely by him. He is a rebellious kid, often skipping school and testing the limits of his teachers. He then decides that he and the new student Ye Xiao Wen will be "irreconcilable rivals". However when he returns home after school, he is shocked to see Ye Xiao Wen cooking at his house! Gao Bin then drops another shocker - Ye Xiao Wen would be living together with them.

In the senior year of high school, both the low-achieving students Wang Huanyu, Han Shuai and Guo Ting, and the academically-inclined Wei Xing and Shi Wenke are caught up in the uncertainties of their future. In the clash of growing pains and the ignorance of youth, they gradually mature. Youth years are like a battlefield, but as long as the people you care about are by your side, you have nothing to fear. In this year, the teenagers with different personalities and mutual attractions each go through a unique experience of joy and sorrow brought about by kinship, friendship and ignorant love. In the midst of hesitation and confusion, they carefully find their paths, guarding their own original aspirations and relentlessly striving towards new pursuits.

Qi Shan and Zhou Zan, childhood sweethearts, grew up with their families hoping they'd end up together. However, due to his family's troubled past, Zhou Zan is wary of love and holds back, despite staying close to Qi Shan. Tired of waiting, Qi Shan chooses to move on with the reliable Wei Ziqian, who happens to be Zhou Zan's half-brother, creating tension. As they transition from high school to adulthood, they navigate emotional challenges in search of happiness.
