Adam Swapp and his brother Jonathan are suspects in the bombing of Mormon Center in Utah. The brothers and their families hold-up on their farm with provisions and enough ammunition to withstand the governments siege. They are devout in their beliefs and purposes and are determined to stand up for their rights.

Comme la loi le prévoit, Michael Myers est transferé dans un hôpital normal après dix ans passés dans un hôpital psychiatrique pour fous criminels. Le docteur Loomis, persuadé que Michael va pouvoir enfin reprendre ses meurtres sanglants, part à sa recherche. Mais la ronde des meurtres a déjà commencé et Michael est en route pour la ville d'Haddonfield qui se prépare à fêter Halloween.
