Takarazuka Revue Moon Troupe 2018 production of the Viennese musical 'Elisabeth'

Black Jack: A Lucky Bet is an original script based on one of Osamu Tezuka's masterpieces, "Black Jack". It was first performed in 1994 by the Flower Troupe led by Anju Mira to great acclaim. In November 2022, at the start of the 50th anniversary year of the "Black Jack" series, it was performed again in a nationwide tour by the Moon Troupe. Kanato Tsukishiro plays the role of Black Jack, an unlicensed surgeon with divine skill, dramatically expressing the message of Tezuka's works, such as the deep love for humanity and the preciousness of life.

One day, he acquires a necklace said to have once belonged to Mary Stuart. His uncle is thrilled, but Julius begins to suffer unexplained dizziness and nightmares after the necklace comes into his possession. Is it cursed? Overwhelmed, Julius visits a friend who studies paranormal phenomena and meets Adela, who is working as his assistant. Upon seeing Julius, Adela accurately describes his condition as though she already knows everything. This truly is a fateful encounter. The two are then drawn inexorably into events that could shake the very foundations of the nation... A richly entertaining musical work that weaves humor and pathos together with darker themes.

A Farce in Pigalle is a musical taking place in the year 1900 in the city of Paris, France. Where a young man comes to visit the Moulin Rouge. This man calls himself “Jacques Valette,” and begs to be allowed to work at this dreamlike place. With his arrival, the whole world of the Moulin Rouge is about to be turned on its head! The musical is followed by a Japan Traditional Revue titled "Welcome to Takarazuka." The theme for this revue show comes from the beauty of the four seasons in which the spirituality of the Japanese people is based on. Kabuki legend Bando Tamasaburo is a supervising director of this show, which marks his first collaboration with the Takarazuka Revue.

The sea gods gather at a temple on the ocean floor to host a passionate carnival showcasing the beauty of the deep-sea, an unrivaled spectacle. This Latin show, replete with the charm of Moon Troupe members led by Tsukishiro Kanato, delivers an alluring performance filled with passionate rhythms.

As the eras went by from Edo through Meiji, Taisho, Showa, Heisei, to Reiwa, Tokyo had changed its colors like a kaleidoscope. Modern meets retro in this revue that features episodes from the lives of Tokyoites from each time period. Enjoy this heartfelt ode to humanity, performed by the theatrically gifted Moon Troupe led by top star Kanato Tsukishiro. This revue will serve as director Yuka Kurita's debut in the Takarazuka Grand Theater.

With songs and scenes focusing on the quintessential themes of Takarazuka —love and dreams—, this celebratory revue will serve as a love letter to the immortal Takarazuka Revue.
