Mariana, 15, escapes the violence of her home in Santa Fe. She embarks on a search for her biological father and takes refuge in an orphanage where she finds affection from a distant relative. On his journey through the interior of the province, he discovers its inner strength.

In the Argentinian countryside, a child's special gift gives her opportunistic guardians the idea of offering consultations with her as an animal medium in order to earn a living.

Through different situations, the narration is introduced into the life of old García (a lonely and enigmatic man who lives and works in an astronomical observation center that has been operating since the sixties in the city of Santa Fe), of Marcelo ( a young man passionate about the unfathomable mysteries of the cosmos) and Noelia (a student who will start working as Garcia's assistant).
