Widower Vitthal Patil (Aaba) wishes his son Yurvaj completes his education and settles well.But Yuvraj only spends his money by doing parties in name of studies. Aaba is joyful when Yuvraj tops in college but finds that he faked his marksheet and scolds him. Yuvraj feels that Aaba does not have right to scold him as he himself is illiterate. Aaba then decides to take education and joins Yuvraj's college where he is made fun at first but soon everyone respects and loves him making Yuvraj jealous while college lecturer Madam Godse falls in love with Aaba.

Pandu, a villager, is frustrated as his wife Kamala is unable to conceive. When the villagers boycott them, Pandu decides to marry Kamala's sister, hoping to become a father.

Advertising agency owner Prakash, a married man, is ecstatic when he lands a big account. But his joy comes to an end when after a night of drinking he wakes up in the house of a beautiful model.

Instead of the prestigious role of the king he always dreamed of, he ends up having to play a 'nachya', an effeminate, homosexual man. He goes ahead with the decision, which forever changes him and his family, as he ends up torn between his artistic passion and his societal prestige.
