Chinese short film directed by Zhang Yang. A young man running in Beijing ’s Hutong (Huang Jue) overhears the phone of a woman at the table in KFC and tries to contact him; in the bar, a group of boys bid for the girl ’s favorite for a chance to order songs; Found himself being followed by a skater boy. At the same time, the protagonist (Jia Hongsheng), who was found to be tracing, was recognized one after another.

Ever-changing life in a busy modern metropolis brings both ecstasy and sorrow: One night, 24-year-old A Rong by chance helps A Min, a beautiful woman, defending her from group of harassers on the street. A Rong takes A Min sleep in his house, while he himself goes to a friend's house to sleep on the sofa. The next morning, A Rong arrives home to find A Min gone; he does everything he can to find her and ask her to marry him.

Mr. Zhao tells the story of a philandering doctor living in Shanghai. His infidelity gets the best of him, however, when his mistress Tian Jing (Chen Yinan) announces she is pregnant, while his wife learns of his affair but refuses to grant a divorce

Dezi est un jeune chauffeur de taxi de Pékin amoureux des femmes. Grâce à son métier il croise des gens dont les vies dépassent de loin son horizon. Suivre son taxi, est une véritable balade à travers Pékin. Les gens comme les lieux passent furtivement dans sa vie. Son errance ressemble étrangement à la quête d’identité de Pékin, elle-même partagée entre valeurs traditionnelles d’un monde en voie de disparition et futur d’une Chine post-maoïste.
