Black Jack: A Lucky Bet is an original script based on one of Osamu Tezuka's masterpieces, "Black Jack". It was first performed in 1994 by the Flower Troupe led by Anju Mira to great acclaim. In November 2022, at the start of the 50th anniversary year of the "Black Jack" series, it was performed again in a nationwide tour by the Moon Troupe. Kanato Tsukishiro plays the role of Black Jack, an unlicensed surgeon with divine skill, dramatically expressing the message of Tezuka's works, such as the deep love for humanity and the preciousness of life.

Buenos Aires in the mid-1900s. The long military regime is finished, and a new president is in power. A former extremist leader, Nicolas, is released from prison after seven long years. He is determined to start his life again, and after some searching finds a job dancing in a tango bar. He has no professional experience dancing, but good enough instincts to see him through. His partner is Isabella, a serious dancer, has hopes of joining a special dancing troupe which only accepts couple entries into its try-outs...

As the eras went by from Edo through Meiji, Taisho, Showa, Heisei, to Reiwa, Tokyo had changed its colors like a kaleidoscope. Modern meets retro in this revue that features episodes from the lives of Tokyoites from each time period. Enjoy this heartfelt ode to humanity, performed by the theatrically gifted Moon Troupe led by top star Kanato Tsukishiro. This revue will serve as director Yuka Kurita's debut in the Takarazuka Grand Theater.

This show serves as a tribute to the eternal Takarazuka Revue, paying homage to traditional revues while also sending a message to the company's magnificent future, through the motif of the moon. With songs and scenes focusing on the quintessential themes of Takarazuka —love and dreams—, this celebratory revue will serve as a love letter to the immortal Takarazuka Revue.
