Encore simple étudiant il y a trois mois de cela, Akatsuki Kojou s'est vu transmettre les pouvoirs d'un des plus puissant vampire du monde. Dans le but de s'assurer qu'il ne les utilise pas à de mauvaises fins, l'Organisation du Roi Lion envoya une de ses disciples nommée Himeragi Yukina. Ayant pour tâche de l'observer 24h/24, cette dernière suivra Kojou dans tous ses déplacements et s'apercevra vite qu'il est loin d'être le monstre qu'on lui a décrit. Ensemble, ils essaieront alors de contrôler ses pouvoirs tout en arrêtant les divers complots qui se trament au sein de l’île.
