Des membres déchiquetés sont retrouvés enfouis dans le sable du parcours de golf "Tall Grass". Pourtant cela n'inquiète nullement le gérant du club, trop préoccupé par le tournoi qui se déroulera bientôt sur son green et par la présence des caméras de télévision. Aidé d'un agent de police local, il va donc étouffer l'affaire. Mais bientôt, un des membre du golf lui même est pris pour cible par ce qui semble être un tueur psychopathe, particulièrement acharné. Le directeur en charge des parcours de golf, Roy - un ancien champion de golf - intrigué par ce nombre de morts violentes, va tenter d'élucider ce mystère...

The year is 1691 and the 100 year war of conquest in the colonies has finally ended in the pacification and decimation of the native populations. It's at this time that 18 monks would begin their journey by hitching a ride aboard the Spanish Armada to seek the "Woman of the Woods" and a new life in a "new world". Patronized by Dr Christopher Witt, the first Botanist in the colonies and the influential Rittenhouse family on the Wissahickon River near modern day Germantown, Pennsylvania, the monks would go on into seclusion and soon make a last stand for all humankind.
