Aram Sabbah

The story of how a small group of teenagers created a skate scene from scratch in a place where you can't even buy a skateboard, whilst facing the challenges of living under military occupation.

Chatila et Reda sont deux cousins palestiniens réfugiés à Athènes. Ensemble, ils multiplient les combines pour rassembler une importante somme qui leur permettra d'acquérir de faux passeports, sésame vers l’Allemagne où ils rêvent de pouvoir enfin construire leur vie. Mais cette quête les pousse à franchir leurs limites, laissant derrière eux une part d’eux-mêmes dans l’espoir d’un avenir meilleur.

The documentary follows Palestinian skateboarder Aram Sabbah in the weeks running up to the Olympic qualifications in Dubai, capturing his personal battle of leaving his homeland in the midst of war to pursue his passion and carry the mantle for skateboarding in his country.
