Ethan Cockrill

James, a newly unemployed man whose personal life is falling apart. Opting to leave his problems behind he encounters entirely new and unexplained ones at the cabin. Strange things happen once he arrives, and James is unsure whether they happen because of an eccentric local named Val or something more sinister.

In between apartments and jobs, Evelyn goes back to her hometown to house-sit her late grandmother's place. While looking for work and struggling with the malaise of her present, she tries to reconnect with old friends and feelings. But when she receives phone calls from a mysterious yet familiar voice and her present becomes harder to face, she turns to her childhood for a way out.

A hitman does one last job to get home before he deteriorates completely.
