Après un tour du monde de trois ans, Adam retrouve sa famille accompagné de sa nouvelle petite amie Gwen, rencontrée lors de son périple. Inspiré par la vie privée de son frère Paul, Adam propose à Gwen une relation ouverte, où chacun est libre de rencontrer qui il veut. Pour ne pas s’opposer à son chéri, la jeune femme accepte. Mais lorsque le jeune homme entame une liaison avec une Française, l’expérience se transforme en un tourbillon d’émotions et d’amertume incontrôlables. Est-ce la jalousie que Gwen doit affronter ou la crainte de la solitude ?

The project is inspired by the director’s own youth during his time at a boarding school in southern Germany. Presents the dilemmas of adolescence between cravings to belong to the group and thirst for freedom.

A group of young, ambitious candidates for a special police unit in Baden-Württemberg are driven to perform at their best. One of them is 23-year-old Rebecca Henselmann, who will soon be deployed in undercover operations. She works hard and is ambitious, just like her colleague Christoph Laurin, whom Rebecca is getting to know. The young policewoman is highly motivated in her operations against drug and arms trafficking. In the process, she encounters abuses of power and encounters right-wing extremist attitudes in the police force too.
