Ludwig Auer

1840, dans les Alpes du Tyrol, la jeune et jolie Wally est la fille unique d’un fermier. Elle travaille comme un homme pour aider son père et passe son temps libre dans les montagnes, tentant d’apercevoir Joseph, un chasseur, qu’elle aime en secret. Un jour, elle parvient à capturer un vautour, ce qui provoque le mépris de Joseph et l’admiration de son père. Ce dernier veut alors la marier à Vinzenz, un fermier voisin. Wally refuse et, chassée par son père, se réfugie dans les montagnes où elle va vivre avec son vautour.

Vienna during the fin de siecle. Farmer's daughter Anuschka has to sell the farm after her father's death to the rich but mean farmer's wife Nowarek and her friendly son Jaro. Anuschka goes to Vienna and starts to work as a housemaid until she is wrongly accused of theft.
