In McDull, the Alumni, our protagonist has grown up. He is no longer the little boy who banters with his mates at school. How he wishes he could just go on bantering all day long with his mates at the renowned Flower on the Spring Field Kindergarten. But that is not to be. Like all grown-ups, he has to grapple with harsh reality. McDull and his mates are scattered all over the place. Each one of them has to find his or her own path. In each of their hearts, they know they have failed. Meanwhile, life goes on in the kindergarten. Someone strums a guitar and the pupils chime in to the song: Puff the magic dragon, lives by the sea… A dragon lives forever, but not so little boys. With hindsight, McDull believes this could well be the maxim of the Flower on the Spring Field Kindergarten alumni.

Fanny is a skilled mahjong player and young housewife, who's usually forbidden from her tile-clicking addiction by husband Johnny. However, when Johnny falls in with gambler Demon, Fanny gets sent packing. Johnny takes up with Demon's sister Curvy, and Fanny is left alone and seems to lose her mahjong-playing skills. Luckily, she receives additional training from her mahjong mentor Three Tiles, who also schooled Auntie Fei, as well as sexy player-in-training First Love. With the aid of her mahjong sisters, brother, plus Auntie Fei's husband Chi Mo Sai, Fanny regroups in time to take on Curvy, Demon, and Johnny at a climactic mahjong tournament.

Une série d’attentats à la bombe se produit à Hong Kong, suscitant la peur parmi la population. L’ancien agent de déminage Poon Shing-Fung, tombé dans le coma à la suite d’une explosion, devient le principal suspect en raison de ses liens avec l’organisation criminelle Vendetta. Après son réveil, Poon est interrogé et emprisonné. Il s’évade pour découvrir la vérité et prouver son innocence….

William Luk, enquêteur de la Commission indépendante contre la corruption de Hong Kong, et l'agent de la Joint Financial Intelligence Unit (JFIU), Lau Po-keung, enquêtent respectivement sur une affaire de corruption et de blanchiment impliquant l'agent des douanes Tik Wai-kit. Au même moment, Ching Tak-ming de l'équipe L (Équipe interne d'enquête disciplinaire) du CCIC reçoit un rapport d'Eva Ng, affirmant que Luk a accepté un pot-de-vin de 12 millions de dollars de Hong Kong. Incapable de fournir une explication, Luk est immédiatement suspendu de ses fonctions. Lau découvre que Luk a été encadré, ce qui est inextricablement lié au cas de blanchiment d'argent sur lequel il enquête. Au même moment, Lau soupçonne également le directeur de la banque Yau Chi-san d’aider le cerveau d’une organisation criminelle, Wong Hoi-wo, à blanchir de l’argent…
