Returning to the stage in 1998 with a new lineup featuring founding members Neal Schon on guitar, Ross Valory on bass, and longtime member Jonathan Cain on keyboards, the band is joined by Steve Augeri on lead vocals and Deen Castronovo on drums. The group rocks with classic performances of their greatest hits and new songs from their 2001 CD Arrival. Filmed in December 2000 in Las Vegas, the band roars back onto the stage. Le DVD a été tourné le 8 mars 2008 lors de la représentation de Journey au théâtre Planet Hollywood pour les arts de la scène à Las Vegas, dans le Nevada. Le groupe a joué environ 90 minutes cette nuit-là, mais pour une raison quelconque, le DVD a été monté en une heure environ et a été amputé de sept morceaux environ. C'est assez difficile de se plaindre cependant, car la performance était incroyable.

En février 2017, Journey s'est rendu au Japon pour un spectacle spécial au Budokan de Tokyo qui présentait une performance complète d'Escape de 1981 et de Frontiers de 1983 à la demande du légendaire promoteur de concerts japonais M. Udo en l'honneur de son 50e anniversaire dans l'entreprise.
