Le Loup gris et le Petit Chaperon rouge est un film d'animation en pâte à modeler réalisé en Union Soviétique par Garri Bardine en 1990. Le film est une adaptation humoristique du célèbre conte Le Petit Chaperon rouge sous forme de comédie musicale. Vivant à Moscou, la mère du petit chaperon rouge envoie celle-ci apporter un gâteau à grand-mère Theresa, qui vit à Paris. La fillette fait le chemin à pied, et doit faire attention au criminel recherché qu'est le loup gris. Celui-ci rencontrera de son côté de nombreux protagonistes de contes célèbres tels que le docteur Aïbolit, Guéna le crocodile, Tchebourachka, Les Trois Petits Cochons ou les Sept nains.

Loosely inspired in some plays from the Spanish author Federico Garcia Lorca("The Puppet Play of Don Cristóbal", "The Billy-Club Puppets" and "Doña Rosita the Spinster"), this short does an incredibly job capturing all the poetry from those literary works, adding a new level of beauty to them by the art of puppetry and stop-motion animation. "Cabaret" starts as a bizarre comedy filled with many extravagances, then, it quickly evolves into a heart-breaking (But at the same time, captivating) tragedy, filled with a breathtaking lyricism that leads into a memorable ending, having some of the most beautiful lines that have been ever spoken in any animated film.
