Three siblings, Sofie, Jonas and Emma, move to Copenhagen when their father is appointed a job at the National Museum. One day, the ancient Norse gods, Loki, Thor and Heimdal, materialize to prevent the museum's legendary golden horns from falling into the wrong hands and threatening the human race with extinction. Because the divine powers of the gods aren't too efficient in a modern, hi-tech world, the kids step in and come to their rescue.

Jon is 17. Karina has a plan of how they can make their dreams come true. It involves a robbery at an old lady's apartment. Lucas soon falls deeply in love with Karina much to the dismay of Robert, but there is something she hasn't mentioned which will have terrible consequences for all three of them.

A movie that aims to deliver a simple message about the dangers of solar use, designed as an 80s horror teen movie directed by Christian E. Christiansen for the benefit of Kræftens Bekæmpelse and the TrygFondens Sluk Solariet campaign in 2015.

It first aired in the December 2005 on TV 2 Denmark television station, on TV 2 Norway in December 2006 and in December 2007 on the Swedish Barnkanalen. In 2008 it is being aired in Finland on Yle2. As a television advent calendar, it has 24 episodes, and one new episode was aired per day from December 1 to December 24. Jul i Valhal is primarily about two children named Jonas and Sofie, and their adventures with the Norse gods.
