Sep 07, 2011Né à l’Est, Konrad Huberty a fui très tôt à l’Ouest avec sa famille, qui a laissé derrière elle sa ferme dans la charmante vallée de Saxe où coule la Müglitz. Douze ans après la réunification, Huberty veut faire valoir ses droits pour la restitution de son bien. Mais Thomas Stille, qui a restauré avec amour le bâtiment et qui y a installé "La vallée tranquille", une sympathique auberge pour les promeneurs, ne l’entend pas de cette oreille. Il a bien essayé de défendre sa cause devant les tribunaux mais, représenté par un avocat incompétent, il vient de perdre en dernière instance contre Huberty. Ce dernier demande l’expulsion immédiate de Stille, qui décide de se barricader dans l'auberge avec sa famille. Un déluge s’abat soudain sur la région, provoquant la crue de l’Elbe et de la Müglitz…
