Au cœur de la taïga de l'Oussouri, en Sibérie, Dersou Ouzala, chasseur solitaire et nomade depuis la mort de ses enfants et de sa femme, croise au cours de l'année 1902 l'expédition de l'explorateur russe Vladimir Arseniev, chargé de faire des relevés topographiques de la région. Dersou devient le guide de l'équipe et apprend peu à peu à Arseniev à connaître et à aimer la nature qui les environne. En échange de cet apprentissage à la fois intuitif et proche de la superstition, Arseniev partage volontiers ses connaissances scientifiques avec son nouvel et étrange ami. Mais le temps de la séparation arrive et les deux hommes réalisent la force des liens qui les unissent désormais…

Partisans attack a column of hundred german trucks cisterns, that carry fuel to the front. However, their action is difficult, as Germans have chained Soviet prisoners to the driving wheels. The mission is to stop and destroy the column and save the lives of the prisoners.

Based on the novel of the same name by Aleksandr Lukin and Dmitriy Polyanovskiy. Russia, 1919. A young soldier of the First Cavalry Army, Aleksei Mikhalyov, is sent to work in the provincial Cheka.
