Stuck with getting affidavits stamped and signed, alcoholic Advocate Mohan Agashe accepts a case of medical malpractice against two gynecologists affiliated with Sanjivani Hospital whose alleged negligence put a young widow and mother of one child, Aarti Mehta, in a state of acute coma. The hospital is willing to make a settlement, but Mohan refuses and decides to try his luck in court. He soon finds out about the greed of patients' relatives, which forces him to accommodate Aarti's married sister Pooja and her son in his already-cramped flat; the lack of evidence and his very own credibility; a hostile judge among other challenges that threaten to not only drive him to despair but also turn his life upside-down.

The story of Pune via Bihar has the two states of Maharashtra and Bihar in the backdrop. The film is about the difference of opinion between two cultures. It does not make any political statement and is basically a love-story that depicts the bloodless struggle of a couple to unite with each other

Ashfaque (Ajay Devgan) is a small town boy aspiring to be a film star in the Hindi film industry. He joins a street theatre group run by a reformed dacoit Sidhu (Pankaj Kapur) who uses street theatre as a medium to bring about an awakening in the masses. Ashfaque struggles to give a creative vent to the actor in him in order to realize his dreams.

After an enraged Rohit Bajaj fires his employee, Raghu Patkar, a male named Vicky Sinha, rescues Rohit's wife, Neha, when her car explodes. A grateful Rohit and his sister, Sanjana, permit Vicky to move in with them in their mansion. Subsequently, Vicky and Sanjana fall in love but quite surprisingly this does not auger well with Neha and she reprimands her sister-in-law. Shortly thereafter Sanjana finds out that Neha and Vicky were former lovers and informs her brother. Then Sanjana falls from the second floor, is injured and gets hospitalized. When she regains her senses, she informs Rohit that Vicky had attempted to kill her. An enraged Rohit assaults Vicky, and is subsequently arrested. After a trial through the courts, Vicky is able to prove that Sanjana's fall was accidental, and Rohit is warned to stay away from Vicky. With Rohit not permitted to even come close to Vicky - what will stop the latter from having his way with both Neha and Sanjana?
