Trois méchants brigands passent leur temps à détrousser les voyageurs en diligence, à détruire les attelages… Leurs forfaits commis, ils accumulent leurs butins dans une caverne retirée en haut de la montagne. Sans cœur, sans scrupule, rien ne les arrête jusqu'au jour où l'unique occupant de la diligence est Tiffany, une petite fille orpheline. Surpris, ils emmènent l'enfant dans leur repaire. « Que faites-vous de tout cet or ? » demande-t-elle. Les 3 hommes ne s'étaient jamais posé la question… Grâce à une merveilleuse alchimie, la petite fille réussit à attendrir les redoutables bandits. Leur vision sombre, violente du monde change du tout au tout, ils arrêtent les pillages, libèrent les enfants d'un orphelinat dont la directrice s'adonne à un trafic de confiseries, décident d'acheter un château pour y héberger tous les orphelins du pays. De trois redoutables méchants, ils deviennent, au contact de la petite fille, des pères de famille tendres, attentionnés !
