Trois types handicapés, formant un groupe rock sans batteur, sont à la recherche d'un batteur, de gloire et de succès. Ils proposent à Dries, un écrivain renommé, de rejoindre leur groupe. Dries accepte avec plaisir et décide que son handicap sera qu'il ne sait pas jouer de la batterie. Tel un dieu ultime mais en même temps diabolique, il descend du ciel afin de se mêler à la populace en détresse. Avec l'arrivée de ce manipulateur, l'avenir du groupe sera lui aussi mis en jeu et il ne faudra pas longtemps avant que les autres membres n'en viennent à se haïr comme la peste. Leur seul avenir est finalement écrit dans bien des paroles punk : "No Future"...

Sam est agent de sécurité dans un centre commercial. Un jour comme les autres, une bombe explose. Sam tente de sauver les blessés mais il finit par s'enfuir en courant, impuissant.
