Andréas se retrouve dans une ville étrange. Il ignore comment il est arrivé là. On lui remet un emploi, un appartement et même une femme. Très vite, il s'aperçoit pourtant qu'il y a quelque chose qui cloche.Tentant de s'enfuir, il découvre que la ville est sans issues. Il fait la connaissance de Hugo qui a découvert dans un mur de sa cave un trou dont s'échappent de merveilleux sons. A story about five people who became friends as adults. They are all in the their early 40s and struggle to find meaning in their lives. They haven't seen each other since the last reunion was somewhat of an aggressive altercation. One thing they all have in common is the feeling of not having experienced enough. They have different social statuses, some are successfully well off and others struggle to keep jobs and relationships.
