Set in the summer of 1910 in Australia the film follows the story of 14 year old Alan Marshall (Alexander Outhread) as he stumbles out of childhood towards the exciting yet forbidding world of adulthood. For Alan, despite the effects of polio, there is only one passion in life - to become a great horseman just like his hero, the reclusive horse trainer East Driscoll (Russell Crowe). Alan is one of East's few friends and also one of the few who knows about the affair between East and the aristocratic English woman Grace McAlister (Charlotte Rampling). Things inevitably take a turn towards the tragic when East becomes determined to force Grace to leave her husband and run away with him. Hammers Over The Anvil is an evocative coming of age film from Australian director Ann Turner.

Upon his return to "life", Spawn seeks out Wanda, who had apparently got over the grief of having lost Al and married another man, Al's best friend Terry Fitzgerald with whom she seemingly had a daughter, Cyan. Terry, a respectable man, works for a man named Jason Wynn. Wynn is a black-market arms dealer, amongst other things (such as the head of certain government organizations, one of which dispatched Al and his team to Vietnam), and is revealed to be the man responsible for the death of Al Simmons due to a disagreement the two had between each other. Jason's actions would also prove dangerous to the lives of Terry, Wanda and their daughter as well. Realizing that he is no longer the man in Wanda's life, Al swears to protect her and her new family.

Spawn is still on his quest to return to his love, Wanda, but is still in trouble. He is guided though by Cogliostro, who is the only one who can give him his humanity back.

Æon Flux est une série de 16 épisodes qui se situe dans un monde futuriste, étrange et dystopique, peuplé de créatures mutantes, de clones et de robots. Le personnage principal est une agente secrète de Monica vétue façon bondage, douée pour l'acrobatie et l'assassinat. Ses missions sont d'infiltrer les bastions du pays voisin Bregna, qui est dirigé par celui qui est tantôt son ennemi tantôt son amoureux, Trevor Goodchild. Monica représente apparemment une société anarchiste dynamique, tandis que Bregna incarne un État centralisé et scientifiquement planifiée. Les noms de leursreprésentants respectifs reflètent cette différence : Flux est l'agent indépendant de Monica et Goodchild le leader technocratique de Bregna.
