A commune built around the pursuit of spiritual perfection through the occult begins to see its prophecies come true.

Katowice, the second half of the 1980s. All the inhabitants of the city watch the movie "The Sinful Life of Franciszek Buła" on television, and two policemen, Karlik and Lucek, patrol empty streets. They reach a TV lounge where they catch two burglars red-handed. Unfortunately, they inadvertently look at the screen and succumb to the magic of the film. Meanwhile, the thieves, taking advantage of their inattention, run away. Police officers pay for staring by losing their job. Just like the heroes of the film, they decide to form a traveling troupe of singers and comedians, calling it "Our Kara".

Au début des années 1970, une petite ville ouvrière du Sud de la Pologne est secouée par une série de meurtres dont les victimes sont uniquement des femmes. La presse n’en parle pas beaucoup jusqu’au moment où l’une d’entre elles s’avère être la nièce du premier secrétaire du parti communiste. Le jeune policier ambitieux chargé de l’enquête est alors prêt à tout pour arrêter le meurtrier, désormais surnommé « le vampire ».

L'histoire du caporal Wydra, un spécialiste des exécutions, qui va , pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, se venger de l'assassinat des membres de son unité secrète.
