A historical drama about the revolution of 1848/1849 in the Austrian empire.

Lily, a stunning photograph model, suddenly notices that hair is growing on her face and escalating to a real "man's beard". Her lover, Richard, who has just returned from a prolonged business trip cannot help her. On the contrary, she is so exasperated that she runs away into the night of the big city where she has her first experiences as a "man".

Lisa has grown up in an orphanage. She is looking forward to her adoption, as she doesn't know that her new parents are about to divorce. The Saber-toothed cat which she meets in a museum intervenes as a "feles ex machina".

Caught Feelings is the succinct title of a film which deals with emancipation trends from the viewpoint of young Austrians. Manfred Kaufmann's first film reports on tensions which may arise from the contradictions between collective and individual feelings. He works with subtle and psychologically perfected indications which explain the symptoms and illustrate the reactions. But this film is also a vehement attack on bourgeois feelings and the resulting behaviours. He shows character traits which use masks to simulate emotion as well as those which are ready to remove their masks in order to let feelings take effect. (Herbert Holba)

This film is a kind of anthology about Vienna, from the invention of film to the present day. The aim is to break down the usual clichéd "image of Vienna" such as that found in the traditional "Vienna Film" by juxtaposing documentary footage, newly shot material and subjective sequences created by various artists. Individual, self-contained sections of the film gain new meaning within the context of historical material. Familiar sites appear estranged when edited together with historical scenes. Other scenes appear like a persiflage or satirical. The film does not incorporate any commentary whatsoever. It is a collage of diverse materials aimed at conveying a distanced image of Vienna to the viewer

The police catch Zorro, a small-time crook who is to testify as a key witness in a trial against organized crime. When an assassination attempt is made on him in prison, Zorro is to be given a new identity and the prosecutor decides to let him go into hiding until the trial begins. The experienced and cunning inspector Fütterer is to protect him. The policeman and the crook are now completely on their own and become targets of the criminal organization that starts hunting them. In the process, they become something like friends. When they find out that the public prosecutor is also only using them as bait, they narrowly escape the trap set for them and flee to the Caribbean.

Rex ou Rex, chien flic ou Rex, Unité Spéciale (Kommissar Rex puis Il Commissario Rex) est une série télévisée germano-autrichienne puis italienne en 215 épisodes de 45 minutes, créée par Peter Hajek et Peter Moser et diffusée à partir du 10 novembre 1994 sur les réseaux allemand Sat.1, autrichien ORF et du 29 janvier 2008 sur la chaîne italienne Rai 2. La série débute après l'attentat perpétré contre un agent du KGB, une fusillade éclate entre la police et le criminel. Un des policiers, Michael, est tué mais son chien Rex est sauf. Rex déprime sans son maître et refuse de s'alimenter au chenil, il s'échappe pour aller sur la tombe de Michael. Un certain Richard Moser, nouveau à la Police Criminelle, qui enquête sur l'affaire le rencontre et il décide de le garder... .. Au fil des épisodes, Rex met en scène une unité de police criminelle à Vienne puis Rome et notamment le duo infaillible d'un inspecteur et de son berger allemand, Rex. Alexander Bukow est un flic qui n'hésite pas à travailler au bord de la loi pour obtenir des résultats. Sa partenaire, Katrin Koenig, est une maniaque du contrôle dont la vie est le métier. Ensemble, ils forment une excellente équipe de lutte contre le crime - quand ils ne se battent pas entre eux.
