Tens of millennia ago, eight gods who ceaselessly fought each other were exiled to earth. For generations, they have been reincarnated as mere mortals, and they won't be allowed back to heaven until they've learned to coexist in harmony. Then in today's Hong Kong, a mortuary beautician and her has-been singer dad are chased for a huge sum of money they don't owe. Turns out her materialistic stepmom has taken a tycoon's advance payment on the false promise of organizing a concert that she can't deliver. The family is therefore forced to go on the run, and along the way they meet an assortment of quirky people, including a mute baker, a kung fu cab driver, an aspiring musician and her crafty sidekick. Through a series of comic misadventures, the seven of them come to realize that they used to be gods and have a mission in this life, but...who is the eighth god that has yet to rejoin them?

A love story between Alex and Ricky. Alex finds a stone that talks to him verbally. The stone is a metaphor for hi-tech communication, connected to another world--the cube where Ricky lives. Ricky’s body and space are pixilated beyond his control...Alex and Ricky come from two completely different worlds. They are connected through the stone, in the same way that people connect randomly on the Internet. Buffering… is about the inability of Alex and Ricky to touch each other, and the journey of each searching for the other's presence.

In McDull, the Alumni, our protagonist has grown up. He is no longer the little boy who banters with his mates at school. How he wishes he could just go on bantering all day long with his mates at the renowned Flower on the Spring Field Kindergarten. But that is not to be. Like all grown-ups, he has to grapple with harsh reality. McDull and his mates are scattered all over the place. Each one of them has to find his or her own path. In each of their hearts, they know they have failed. Meanwhile, life goes on in the kindergarten. Someone strums a guitar and the pupils chime in to the song: Puff the magic dragon, lives by the sea… A dragon lives forever, but not so little boys. With hindsight, McDull believes this could well be the maxim of the Flower on the Spring Field Kindergarten alumni.

Plus prompt à rêver qu’à travailler à l’école, McDull ne pense qu’à réaliser ses désirs, comme celui de partir pour les îles Maldives ou devenir champion olympique. Des songes que sa mère, malgré ses faibles économies, va faire son maximum pour exaucer avec un peu d’ingéniosité et beaucoup de bonne cuisine. En attendant, le petit McDull s’entraîne dur pour raviver la discipline oubliée de la capture de brioches pendant que sa mère essaye de le faire devenir sport olympique.

Par la suite, Bao engage une sans abri : Miu qui à était viré par son copain et présente pour la première fois “les belles filles de la boxe” afin d’attirer l’attention des clients qui sont principalement des hommes. TT mécontente, arrive à créer le chaos dans le centre de boxe. Une femme mystérieuse du now de Zhu Ge se montre aussi afin de chercher des femmes pour qu’elles deviennent ses gardes du corps pour l’accompagner en Malaisie, mais elle ne vont pas faire que ça.
