Vito Corleone, immigrant italien, arrive à New York au début du siècle ; très vite, il devient un des caïds du quartier, utilisant la violence comme moyen de régler toutes les affaires. Seul au départ, il bâtit peu à peu un véritable empire, origine de la fortune de la famille des Corleone.

Présentés exclusivement pour le public vidéo amateur, les deux films ont été assemblés et racontent chronologiquement toute la saga des Corleone. Il contient toutes les images des productions théâtrales originales, y compris des scènes supprimées et/ou étendues jamais vues à la télévision. Captivant dans son envergure de cinquante-huit ans.

A mentally-challenged delivery boy indulges in fantasies that he is a superhero in the tough streets of Brooklyn. He lives a life marked with torments from the gang of deadbeats at the corner, overbearing concern from his mother and older brother, and general confusion about women and his burgeoning desires for them.

Al Stanco has lived all of his life in Brooklyn and does some work for the local crime lord, Danny Parente. New to the neighbourhood is Gabriela, a filmmaker shooting a documentary on the real Brooklyn. Al and Gabriela become friendly but the relationship is strained when he discovers her true goal is to expose Parente's criminal activities. When Al sees the evidence Gabriela has uncovered, which implicates Parente in the death of many locals (including Al's own father), he seeks revenge in a dangerous confrontation with his boss.

Katherine married Dr. Charles Raynor. She later discovers that Raynor is a sadist who torments her physically and mentally. She divorces him and take their child away. He then decides to kill her but when his plot is discovered he is charged with attempted murder and brought to trial.

The Danny Kaye Show is an American variety show hosted by Danny Kaye that aired on CBS from 1963 to 1967 on Wednesday nights. Directed by Robert Scheerer, the show premiered in black-and-white, but later switched to color broadcasts. At the time, Kaye was at the height of his popularity, having starred in a string of successful films in the 1940s and '50's, made successful personal appearances at such venues as the London Palladium, and appeared many times on television. His most recent films had been considered disappointing, but the television specials he starred in were triumphant, leading to this series. Prior to his television and film career, Kaye had made a name for himself with his own radio show, and numerous other guest appearances on other shows.

En quatre épisodes (trois de 93 minutes et un de 140), le Parrain et le Parrain 2e partie furent remontés dans un ordre chronologique et expurgé pour la télé de la violence, des scènes de sexe et de la vulgarité et bien sûr agrémenté de 70 minutes de scènes inédites (ou du moins coupées au montage des films) afin de présenter au public télé l’adaptation des romans de Mario Puzo.
