He sets out on the old steam train and adventure begins. The train does not emerge in our 'real world' but rather seems to wind its way through some alternate world. More fantasy than science fiction, the story and visuals tend to be surreal. If you like Galaxy Express 999 then you may find this to be its 'little brother'. Recommended for children and animation enthusiasts.
