This Western is set in the Mexican valley of Sonora not that far south of the state of Arizona. It's just after the American Civil War, and a former Confederate officer, Mike Summers has taken refuge in a small town in the valley. He has married and is hoping to live in peace the rest of his life. Instead, he and his wife and the rest of the town are suffering the depredations of a brutal gunman, Danny Pose, and his gang of outlaws. Summers holds off picking up a gun because of his personal vow of non-violence. But the situation deteriorates and a new ally comes into the picture, Steve Fallon, a wandering gunslinger who may not be able to handle the bad guys alone.

Ondine is a gay man attempting to re-adjust his sexuality via various encounters with different women. After trying his luck with three women, Ondine becomes a background character in a sequence in which a group of Latin American men, calling themselves The Bananas, engage in a food fight. Ondine then engages in a wrestling match with Joe Dallesandro, who is married to Brigid Berlin.

Eduardo, a wealthy banker who has a pastime for hiring young street hustlers to keep his bed warm, spots Miguel, an extremely handsome teen who has a penchant for women and motorcycles.

Joe, un tireur d'élite, arrive dans une bourgade mexicaine proche de la frontière, San Miguel. Deux bandes rivales, les Baxter et les Rodos, se disputent le contrôle de la région. Joe, qui assiste à un massacre de soldats mexicains par les Rodos, décide de tirer profit de la situation pour gagner quelques dollars. Il incite les bandits à se battre entre eux dans l'espoir de récupérer l'or que détient Ramon, le chef des Rodos. Un premier affrontement entre les bandits élimine une bonne partie des Baxter. Joe se charge de tuer lui-même les Rodos survivants. Une opération d'autant plus facile à imaginer que Joe a découvert le point faible du plus farouche des fils Rodos, son amour pour Marisol, une jolie Mexicaine...

A young man tries to get away from his disfunctional family by working with his friend, a rich boy who lives in excess and sleaze, but he will soon realize how reckless his friend is and that he is submerged in a life of crime, vice and deadly bets.
