Notamment les vastes ensembles de centaines de logements sociaux dont les plus célèbres Diar E Saâd (1953), Diar El Mahçoul (1954) et Climat de France (1957). Le contexte historique, durant la guerre d’indépendance est relaté par l'historien Benjamin Stora et Nadir Boumaza. Ce documentaire évoque également la personnalité de Fernand Pouillon dans ce contexte post-colonial.
