Un producteur d'émission radio reçoit un jour un disque d'une fan qu'il pense être la femme qu'il aimait. Il passe la musique à l'antenne pour qu'elle l'entende et quand une femme appelle pour demander que l'on repasse la chanson, il pense que c'est elle. Hors il s'agit d'une autre fille qui écoutait la chanson au moment ou un accident a failli lui arriver, et qui voulait se rappeler la chance qu'elle a eu de l'éviter. Les échanges sur internet des deux personnages vont ainsi créer des liens très intimes...
