The work centers on the images of the Gulf War which caused worldwide sensation in 1991. In the shots taken from projectiles homing in on their targets, bomb and reporter were identical, according to a theory put forward by the philosopher Klaus Theweleit. At the same time it was impossible to distinguish between the photographed and the (computer) simulated images. The loss of the 'genuine picture' means the eye no longer has a role as historical witness. It has been said that what was brought into play in the Gulf War was not new weaponry but rather a new policy on images. In this way the basis for electronic warfare was created...

Brazilian Band - MTV Live in Ouro Preto is the sixth album and first live work of Brazilian pop rock group Skank, released in 2001. Recorded in Tiradentes Square in the historic city of Ouro Preto (Minas Gerais), on 7 and 8 July 2001, the show has its repertoire consists primarily of songs included in voting by fans through the band's website. Besides the songs voted as Pacato Citizen Response, See You, It's A Football Match and Alms, the album features two new compositions: "En Tus estare Trapped Fingers" (Spanish version for "Wrapped Around Your Finger" by The Police, recorded for an album tribute to the band) and "Under the Sun" (included on the trail of the novel the Daughters of Mother, Rede Globo). A song Maquinarama disc, "Ali", was not played on the show, but was included on the disc. The only special interest is Chico Amaral, the band's usual partner, who plays guitar on the song "Answer".

Chapter one in the “Tran-ilogy of Terror ” begins when Peaches Christ discovers a hideous little-person and makes her part of the popular Midnight Mass stage-show. Peaches and sidekick Martiny nickname the creature “Troll Girl” and poke fun at her while she attempts to steal the spotlight onstage. Later, during the taping of a TV cooking episode, Martiny eats an entire casserole named “Cheese Blackout”. She falls violently ill. Peaches must hire a live-in nurse to care for Martiny. When the nurse murders Martiny via an intravenous cheese overdose, Peaches discovers Troll Girl to be the caretaker in disguise… from here the terror is just beginning!

A local ruler bows down to the pressure from democratic forces and is forced to hand over a part of his province to a democratically elected leader. He also presents his pet dog to a poor peasant and his wife. For the poor peasant and his wife, the dog is not a mere dog, but a symbol of the royalty which had always inspired in them feelings of respect, admiration and blind worship. They bathe the dog in a very ceremonious manner and take much care of it. They even desist from tying it up. But when the dog bites and kills a duck and then a boy, it leads to problems. The democratic leader orders the arrest of the dog, followed by the arrest of the poor peasant. Then follow protests, talks, negotiations leading to more interesting developments.
